Notes
To me this album is about perception. Everyday we pass over them, without seeing. Fungi, slime molds and other small beings issue an invitation to dwell for a time right at the limit of our ordinary perception. All it requires of us, is attentiveness. Look in a certain way and a whole new landscape can be revealed.
Information
We are excited to announce our next release titled, ‘A New Landscape’ by Lav- his debut long play on PITP. The man behind the machines is Christopher Landin, sound artist and photographer hailing from Karlskrona, Sweden. While embracing flourishes of electronic melancholia, Lav showcases his affinity for harmonizing nature imagery and natural sound in his arrangements.
‘A New Landscape’ is wonderfully atmospheric, sonically detailed and ultimately an ear-pleasing affair. This collection of arrangements reveal buoyant electronic soundscapes with a touch of bittersweet melodies.
